After 39 beautiful years, Zevaine is closing its doors.
It feels strange to write this. Thirty-nine years ago, Zane made a single bracelet for Alaine in a back room, with tools borrowed from his father. That bracelet became a small shop in Charleston, and the shop slowly grew into the boutique so many of you know: dresses, shoes, bags and jewelry, chosen the slow way, piece by piece, with an eye for fabric, fit and finish.
Now the moment has come to close our doors. Not because the love is gone, but because every chapter has a last page, and we would like to turn ours together, while we still can.
